• Zamân is an installation of kinetic and static sculptures that respond to two stable sources of light. On the ground, two rotating sculptures that resemble the handles of a clock, carry reflective and see-through planes on either side. Each handle bears two circular planes of a unique reflective film or a mirror. As the disks revolve around the source of light, the turning discs overlap each other and together they draw light and shadows on the wall in front.
The projected play of light and shadow draws an allegorical narrative of passage of time as if cosmic elements move in a fleeting extraterrestrial landscape.
