Abyss - Abismo

• Abyss is a a visualization of a presence in one’s inner landscape. The sculpture suggests that to arrive to the vision of this place one needs to look through the outer shell. Abyss exsists within the multiplicity of one single form where it draws you to that unfathomable, infinite, endless, bottomless, and boundless space. In this depth of the ocean any two being is one. They are merely reflections of one another.
The sculpture is in conversation with a site specific stone statue placed outside the gallery in a pool of water.
